Derk Harron is from Arizona. He graduated from Phoenix College with an ASA degree in Comics and Sequential Art. He’s done political cartoons through his years in college. He loves doing commissioned artwork in the art mediums of watercolor paints, colored pencils, acrylic paints, ink, and pencil. He continues working on comics in his spare time and painting pictures of his dogs, Hazel and Rose. "I do zines that tell stories of art projects I've worked on. Also, I do zines on the adventures my friend and I have done together. Finally, I am the cartoonist and graphic designer for Doggy Dessert Chef. I've illustrated two dog treat cook books."
