"My newest zine, Desert Pookas, is filled with adapted Irish fairy tales and linocut illustrations, and explores themes of grief, childhood, and longing, set against a desert night. My other zines delve into food justice, climate change, and collaborating on creative projects." "I’m primarily a writer, but I’m practicing bookbinding and illustration to widen what I know so I can participating in collaborative publishing. I’m inspired by blending old and new, using stories to heal, and the biodiversity of the Sonoran Desert."
