"I would like to present myself as Salma, which is my sex worker/ artist name. I would like to have my zine represented as a Chaotically-Pink Celebration of the Sex Industry and the freedom that it allows its workers to have, simultaneously is a deep 'roar' to the patriarchy and everyone who continues to censor sex workers."
"Fuck you, Pay me is a zine celebrating sex work culture and the people in it. I’ve been a sex worker for almost my entire adult life and felt like it was time for me to work on a new creative project. For a long time I had been wanting to create a zine but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to focus it on sex work and was also just afraid of failing, but earlier this year, around April, I started making some art and collages that would go with my various written 'rants' about the industry and people, and also my think-pieces, while also reaching out to some sex workers I know inviting them to participate as collaborators for the zine. Shortly, I had art, poetry, memoirs and advice columns from multiple sex workers -of all genders- and the zine started to take form and a life of its own. The first volume will be available for purchase and downloading in August and it will consist of 44 pages of purely helpful information to have as a new sex worker as well as entertaining stories and beautiful for everyone who decides to check it out, wether they’re a sec worker or a not."

Themes include: Sex work, decriminalization of sexwork, art by sex workers, history of sex work and its many avenues
