Dates at the Doctor’s Office is a quarter sized zine that contains a poem written about the supportive relationship between the author and their lover/caregiver. It’s printed in black and white on recycled cream paper. The poem inside had been originally written and performed as a part of a workshop series and public storytelling event called “Centering Our Stories” during November of 2025. This project was sponsored by the National Center on Disability and Journalism at Cronkite and the Human Services Research Institute.
