A note from Charissa
Thank you for supporting Wasted Ink in 2023! We've been happily busy providing workshops and programming, and printing and distributing zines in our new studio.
It's been exciting to meet new zine fans and to distribute zines as far as we can. Our Fall calendar is filling up with events and activities so be sure to schedule a zine workshop now for Fall and Spring. Thank you for your continued support and community care!

Our zine community coming together for Bad Art Club!

 A Look at Our July 2023 Reports 

Programming

• Provided over 100 hours of zine events, workshops and programs for over 775 people
• Programs include Zine Nights, Zines as Activism workshops, Bad Art Clubs and Tea and Typing Nights
• Curated art exhibitions featuring six artists in Raíz Gallery:

- Constance Jackson
- Liv Barney
- Jackie Imig
- Jennifer Marcial Kissi
- Dempsey Keenan
- Se'mana Thompson

• Organizing and assisting two zine fests:

- The 7th annual PHX Zine Fest, August 19 and 20 at The Nile Theater
- Zygote's Queer Print and Zine Fair, August 26 in Cleveland, OH

​Distribution

• Distributed 1590 zines from January-July, 2023 through our in-person store, online store, new wholesale program, and various pop-up events. (Wasted Ink has distributed over 10,000 zines since opening almost eight years ago!!)
• Added over 100 zine titles to our online store​​

Printing & Publishing

• Printed 24 zine projects for community members totaling over 1000 printed zine copies
•  Provided zine layout and design for projects at our new community print space, Paper Jam + Print
