After a 9 year webcomic run, BCH Comix launched in 2019. The indie comic and zine creation house, headed by Michigan based artist BluRaven C. Houvener, specializes in slice of life tales pulled from his own adventures growing up. BCH Comix titles are known for their relatable tales of love, loss, and the struggles that come from dealing with day to day life. Whether you’re growing with Jake in ‘It’s Just another day’, tackling a dream head on with Seeker in ‘The Year of Reflection’, or living out an urban warrior fantasy with ‘Young St.Nic’, BCH Comix has a title for you! BCH Comix is the label I release comics and zines under. My flagship titles are the ones that exist in the 'It's Just another day' universe(It's Just another day, The Year of Reflection, Jake, etc...). All of which tackle the topics of lifes hardships, mental health, coping, and so on but presented in a tongue and cheek way. I want people to read my work and smile, but I also hope it falls into the right hands and it can help someone through a hard time.
