Brown Recluse offers our entire catalogue at an accessible price for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color).

We welcome orders by institutions and white folks but we ask for donations for engaging with BIPOC knowledge and art. <3

BROWN RECLUSE is a collectively-run zine distro for QTBIPOC by QTBIPOC.

EST. 2013,
Brown Recluse Zine Distro was created to support + center zines written by queer and trans people of color; BRZD was born was born in the spirit of visibility + in the spirit of celebrating our cultures. Brown Recluse exists to strengthen our ties + highlight our intersectional, relatable experiences.

BRZD is based on Ohlone lands (Oakland, CA)

Themes in the zine include abolition, anti-imperalism, disability justice, harm reduction, herbalism, indigenous soverignty, mental health, mutual aid, punk/touring/music, queer/trans, transformative justice, SW.
