Cool Dog

I create illustration and comic zines that are inspired by music and pop culture! I also have an ongoing character, Cool Dog, who is a dog that is too cool for his own good. I have an ongoing music themed illustration zine in partnership with my music podcast, Miq's Mix, where I write down playlists, have fun made-up "facts" about bands, and draw to songs. 

My newest series is a series of small one-page zines called "Scar Stories" telling the tales of how I got some of my scars. Palpatine Zine is a Star Wars inspired rhyming zine featuring Senator Palpatine's famous line "Do it" turned into him popping up in random situations saying phrases that rhyme, like "Kazoo it" or "Shampoo it". Pup Provisions is a hardbound book of illustrations of the alphabet, except it's dog breeds matching each letter along with a food that also starts with that same letter. Animal Collective is my newest project, an illustration zine with band and animal puns, such as "Moo Fighters" (cows as the Foo Fighters). 

Zine themes include humor, animals, music, pop culture references.
