Dyke Queen is a zine about art, style, and literature. Dyke Queen started in the spring of 2017 as a personal DIY zine. The first issue was about a dyke coming into her own in Los Angeles during the summer of 2016. The issue features an essay about meeting and being inspired by Eileen Myles, a reflection on covering Pulse as a journalist, a personal essay on getting a buzzcut, and an ode to a red “denim daddy” jacket.
In 2017, Dyke Queen published our second issue with the support of the “Issues” residency by Hello Mr. and Into. We just released our third issue and we're excited to present it at Phoenix Zine Fest! Find Dyke Queen here: Website
