Fuzzy Cherry is a zine and art project by Ira Golthi, who is based out of Pennsylvania and DC. The overarching goal of Fuzzy Cherry is to be an outlet for Ira's creative energy and self-expression, which means the themes and topics of her zines vary widely. There are personal opinions and stories, poetry, art, and more. She uses techniques such as riso printing, collage, drawing, and photography to create her zines. With Fuzzy Cherry, you never know what you will get next, but Ira is grateful for those who tag along for the ride! I started the Fuzzy Cherry Zine project toward the end of 2019. In 2020, when lockdowns and remote work began, I was privileged enough to have the time and resources to put my all into Fuzzy Cherry. I make perzines, collage zines, art zines, and zines about any topic that interests me. Fuzzy Cherry is about my own personal self-expression. I have been a fan of zines since I was 13 years old, when I saw and purchased my first zine at my local record store.
Themes include personal stories/thoughts/opinions, collaging, drawing, poetry, general fun and whimsy. Follow Ira here: Website
