Introducing our Sponsor: Related Records

Picture
Related Records is an independent record label based out of Phoenix, AZ. The music and art released on this label is not genre specific, but everything is limited to less than 500 copies. The label is run by Ryan Avery and was started in 2013 while they were majoring in music business at Phoenix College.

The only common thread for the things Ryan puts out on Related Records is that Ryan loves all the artists a lot and considers them all part of their chosen family. Ryan enjoys all kinds of art and the label reflects that - religious zines, queer themed tribute compilations, riot grrrl, commercial jingles, comic books that compliment musical albums about the oil industry, skate punk, poetry, whisper vocal comedy covers of indie artists, british homocore, pop, experimental, electronic, benefit mix tapes, ska, friendship zines, party music, acapella sing songs, story telling, shaggs-worship, weirdo religious music from the 60s, tribute albums to unpopular albums by popular bands, kraut rock, explicit homosexual lyrics, jazz, artists that are obsessed with very specific themes, noise, soundtracks to movies that were never released in theaters, garage rock, bedroom pop, art-goth from Germany, perverted vaudeville, folk, grindcore, whole compilations made up of stage banter, novelty, sound collage, high-brow+low-brow art concepts, early 2000's+1990's nostalgia, freak-folk, hardcore, hip-hop performed by space aliens and old people, new wave and MORE!
