Iron Point Press is a publishing project based in occupied Tucson, AZ. It is best known for the journal Leaf Litter, which highlights writers, poets, and artists affiliated with Signal Fire. The journal explores the role and responsibility of creative agitators to protect wild and sacred lands. Iron Point Press was started by amy wheeler harwood and includes her self-published experimental short fiction collections. I am the co-editor and publisher of Leaf Litter, a journal put out through Signal Fire. The journal highlights writers, poets, and artists affiliated with Signal Fire, as well as commissioned works by established writers. Signal Fire is an organization working to connect artists and creative agitators to wild and sacred lands currently threatened by profit-driven development. We are on our eighth issue, which features original work by Carolyn Finney, a prominent writer and environmental activist documenting Black connection to American wild places.
I also publish my own work and occassionally others under Iron Point Press. I write and search for writers who are creating experimental short fiction. I have three collections of my own work and will bring 2-3 other writers' work with me. Find Iron Point Press here:
