Black Jackal Studios makes comics on themes of LGBTQ+ Characters and Romances, Diverse Cultures and People, Diverse Body Types and Body Positivity, Individual Growth,  and Acceptance!
"I am a huge nerd and I am super passionate about comics and D&D. One of the movements I have been most excited for in recent years is the growing representation of the LGBT community and more diverse casts in comics and shows. My main reasons for creating comics and the books I do is to share my passions and to give people the same excitement I feel from well represented series. I want to make a story with characters that people can identify with, find comfort in, get excited about, and in the end, see themselves represented through. I had a very supportive household growing up and I am blessed by that fact. But even with that, there was not a lot of representation around me or through the media back in the 90s. So as LGBT characters and stories started to emerge in the 2000s, I found myself getting so excited with each new show that had LGBT characters. It also was hard growing up being bullied for being nerdy and not having a convention look for a woman. I took a lot of comfort in characters at the time that looked or felt like me and I really want to give that same feeling to all of my audience and add to this awesome movement in the creative space!"
