I4C produces a series of zines with our flagship zine being "Critical (In)Coherencies," an annual publication that features works by left-leaning, radical students, faculty and staff navigating ASUs neoliberal scape. While 14C has been on hiatus since COVID, we intend to launch CIC with a new issue at the Phx Zine Fest. CIC will be free.
In addition, we have a series of zines titled "Pocket Scholar," in which each issue features excerpts from our published works for a broad audience and for free. We will have at least 5 issues of Pocket Scholar available for circulation at the Fest. In addition, our members have personal zines they will feature. Specifically, we will have zines in the following areas: liberatory poetry; revolutionary speculative fiction; and our director will feature one of her personal zines called "Trans Rage" in which she details cisgender responses to trans difference in public.
