Kayla makes zines and comics on anti-racism, Indigenous, lesbian, fantasy, monsters, horror, fiction, auto-bio, comics. "I'm a Navajo+Annishinabe multimedia artist that makes comics and zines about a variety of things, whether its my own stories or things I'm interested in, like monsters and anti-racism activism. I make comics as an Indigenous artist because I know its important to make our own stories with our own representation, as well as exploring my creativity in different narratives. I have detailed artwork that varies from intense markmaking with ink to colorful pieces. I hope to work with other zinesters and help foster creativity in my community as well."
