Popular Girl Press makes zines on Friendship, The shared experience of our earnest youth, Pop Culture, Strong Opinions, etc.
You might be thinking to yourself…Popular Girl? Is this really for me? I wasn’t “popular” or “I’m not a girl”, but we want to assure you that if you’re reading this…

YOU are a popular girl, girl!

Popular girl is a vibe.

Popular girl is a state of mind.

Popular girl is he/him, she/her, they/them, et al

Popular girl is feminist and intersectional.

Popular girl is the best sleepover you’ve ever been to.

Popular girl is falling in love with the other girls in the bathroom and saying things like, “you smell sooooo good” or “omg let me spritz you” while pulling a perfume bottle from your purse and letting the other girlies take a photo so they can buy it later bc popular girls don’t gatekeep.

Popular girl is driving with your best friend, screaming your favorite song with the windows down.

Popular girl is knowing that platonic love is one of the greatest loves of all with the potential of becoming one of life's most devastating heartbreaks.

Popular girl is feeling things deeply and being a little bit dramatic about it.

Popular girl is talking forever and ever about your favorite things.

Popular girl is loving so sincerely with your whole heart.

Popular girl is a celebration of all of this and so much more, so if you’re here and you resonate with any of that, guess what babe….you’re a popular girl!
