I want to show my unique perspective on things like being a father and raising bright and creative children. I also want to show my own artwork based off my influences and being Mexican/American. I want to inspire others to create like I have with my kids, and also help them both gain confidence in their own artwork and share with the community. I have a comic series called Mijos, which are comics about being a father. I also have sketchbook zines with drawings from my sketchbook. I also have a zine called Tacos, which is a collection of Mexican culture inspired drawings. My son has a series of fan art comics, as well as his own character comic called adventures of Jim Ert. We both want to make kid friendly comics/zines. My younger son has ASD and is such a talented artist, he draws so much and I will be compiling a zine or two of his fan art and own creations.
